Goals for 2016.

That Christmas tree in the background was all packed up this morning, and the living room vacuumed and tidied. Then Travis and Tariku came over and we all walked up to Woodstock to New Seasons.
I've heard and read a few other people's goals for 2016. Mine will mostly revolve around running and weight.
I want to be below 130 lbs at the end of 2016. Weight in this morning was 138.2. That is literally the lightest I have been in at least 2 months, but my husband is quick to remind me that I've been sick the past two weeks. But I've also been counting calories, and I'm putting it down to that hard work (and when I say hard work, I mean HARD work!)
And I want to have some running goals, but I'm not really sure what that should be.
1) Run on more days than not run for the whole year.
2) Run 2 half marathons this year
3) Run a sub 1:55 Half marathon
4) No injuries for the year
There. Just created them.
I would love to run a spring and a fall half, and if I'm fit and there are some going on, a few other spontaneous half marathons. I kind of want this year to be the year of the half. I'm always thinking that I need to get my base up. And I do! I seem to have a lot of set backs, with my sprained ankle last August and over this break when I should have had lots of time for running, I was mostly in bed feeling unwell. Still wasn't up for a run today, but hoping tomorrow will be day 1 of my new running program, whatever that is going to be.
