January 14th - First Tempo Run

I had something of a miracle happen at work today.  My schedule was blocked from 11:30-1, then a patient from 1-2, and then more blocked schedule until 3:30.  My patient was ready for me to see her at 11:30, so I had from 12:30 until 3:30 blocked!!  That meant I could actually even make it to 24 hour fitness, rather than work out on the treadmill in the clinic, which does feel a little open.

So I drove to the gym in the middle of the work day!

My first tempo run was on the treadmill, 30 minutes.  I walked for 5 minutes, and then started at 5.0, went up every minute for 10 minutes, then every 2 minutes bumped up by .1 until the end when I bumped it up more.
