February 15th

Weight: 138.0
Calories: 2003 (opps, went out to Indian dinner).

So, my running experiment started today with the heart rate training.  Major glitch, however, is that the watch with the optical sensor sometimes glitches and spikes, which is REALLY ANNOYING when you are setting your pace to it.  I had to totally slow my pace down to stay around 126, and I didn't even make 5 miles in an hour.

After more research today, however, it turns out I was in the "money" spot for my "long" (not even 5 mile) run today.  I had my zones figured wrong yesterday. Here are the zones I'm going to follow:

Zone 1: 126-138
Zone 2: 138-145
Zone 2.5: 145-151
Zone 3: 151-158
Zone 4: 158-169
Zone 5: > 169
